Green Producing is not just a label for us, but a matter of attitude and the quality of our work.
Filmproduction means managing resources.
Time, materials and energy — but above all, responsibility. For us, responsible production means making conscious decisions, questioning established processes and finding new ways wherever unnecessary effort can be avoided.
The people who shape and carry a production are at the heart of this approach.
This commitment has been part of our work for many years. As early as 2014, we produced The Green Lie, one of Austria’s most successful cinema documentaries on the subject of sustainability.
Since then, the responsible use of resources has been an integral part of our production practice — from concept and planning, through the shoot, to post-production.
We do not see Green Producing as a rigid set of rules, but as an ongoing process. We question established workflows, look for meaningful alternatives and continuously develop the way we work.
e&a film is certified with the Austrian Ecolabel.
e&a film was founded in the summer of 2008 and has since stood for independent film productions with clear content standards.
